East African countries networks and will offer redundancy loops for these networks with DRC and the
countries in the region.
The project entails detailed studies and engineering designs for the construction of a bridge over the Ntem River and its access roads linking the Republics of Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea.
The project also includes the construction of a one-stop border post (OSBP) and the implementation of trade facilitation measures along the Transport Corridor linking Yaoundé in Cameroon, Bata in Equatorial Guinea and Libreville in Gabon.
The Kuito-Luena Road project (PIDA Code T.21.05) involves the rehabilitation and upgrading of a 184 km road section connecting the cities of Kuito (Bié Province) and Luena (Moxico Province) in central Angola. The project is part of the Trans-African Highway Network (Cairo-Cape Town Corridor, TAH 4) and aims to improve a critical domestic and regional transport link. The scope includes upgrading the road to paved, all-weather standards, improving geometric design, constructing drainage structures, and implementing road safety features. The project is a national priority within Angola's National Development Plan (PND 2018-2022) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Regional Infrastructure Development Master Plan.

The design for the LAPSSET higway components provide for a heavy transportation route from Lamu to South Sudan through Garissa, Isiolo, Kisima and Nginyang to meet the existing Kenya - South Sudan road at Lokichar, from where it continues to the border at Nadapal. The Lamu - Isiolo - Lokichar - Lodwar - Nadapal section measures about 1,300 km. The Northern Branch of the corridor to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia is the Isiolo- Moyale section which is also part of LAPSSET Corridor road. Construction on this section has been completed and the One Stop Border Post (OSBP) construction is currently underway.
