Establishing the Zobue/ Mwanza OSBP which lies on the Tete/ Nacala Corridor, with Zobue on the Mozambican side and Mwanza on the Malawian side.

L'interconnexion électrique entre le Burundi et la Tanzanie fait partie de la liste restreinte des projets prioritaires du PAP 2 de l'UA-PIDA, le plan directeur de l'EAC, et relève du programme d'interconnexions régionales NELSAP des Grands Lacs (PMIREL-PLEN). Chacun des réseaux des 2 pays est connecté ou en voie de l'être prochainement à ses voisins respectifs, mais ils ne sont pas encore directement connectés entre eux. Ce projet construira un de ces chaînons manquants. Le projet comportera 2 composantes : C.1 Construction de la ligne de transmission de 180 km ; C.2 réinstallation/indemnisation des personnes affectées le long de l'infrastructure, ainsi que des études environnementales, des études de préfaisabilité et de faisabilité.

The project concept is for a dedicated petroleum jetty and associated storage facilities at Albion, potentially supporting large-tanker berthing, petroleum imports, storage, bunkering and regional trading functions. The project must be distinguished from the existing Mauritius Ports Authority oil jetty at Mer Rouge, Port Louis. Operating statistics, dimensions, throughput or investments relating to Port Louis cannot be applied to Albion unless an official scope decision confirms relocation or integration. No current official decision, land confirmation, procurement, financial close or construction evidence was identified for Albion. The project remains active in the portfolio, but the current reportable stage is S1 pending owner confirmation of whether the proposal remains active, has been relocated or has been superseded.

Feseabilty study; Assessment of extent and potential of the Aquifer.

The project will increase capacity and safety through construction of second carriageways on the RN06 corridor between Mascara and Bechar and the RN50 corridor from Bechar towards the Algeria-Mauritania border. The approved scope totals approximately 2,200 km across the two principal sections. The programme is intended to improve north-south and cross-border connectivity, support trade with Mauritania and West Africa, reduce travel times and accidents and improve access to southern Algerian regions and border facilities. The original financial field indicates an average unit rate of DZD 300 million per kilometre. It does not provide a source USD total, valuation date or confirmed length to which the rate should be applied as a single contract package. Official evidence shows phased implementation of the wider corridor, including the Algeria-Mauritania road initiative, while some RN06 packages remain in study or preparation. The portfolio stage is S4B because construction is occurring within the approved umbrella scope.
