Project Overview

Kraké/Sémé Badagry OSBP. is a one-stop border-post project serving Benin and Nigeria. It seeks to reduce clearance time and improve trade by coordinating customs, immigration and other controls within an integrated border facility and operating process. Sèmè–Kraké/Badagry is an operating joint border post between Benin and Nigeria. ECOWAS activity in 2025 focused on improving functionality and operational coordination.

Description

<p>Construction of Kraké/Sémé Badagry One-Stop Border Post along the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor (between Benin and Nigeria).</p>

Objectives

<p>The objectives of an OSBP are: - to ease congestion at existing facilities; - to reduce time delays at border; - to increase coordination between border agencies - to simplify the processes at borders and to facilitate cross-border trade.</p>
