Rusumo OSBP is a one-stop border-post project serving Rwanda and Tanzania. It seeks to reduce clearance time and improve trade by coordinating customs, immigration and other controls within an integrated border facility and operating process. Rusumo is an operating one-stop border post between Rwanda and Tanzania.
<p>Construction of Rusumo One-Stop Border Post between Tanzania and Rwanda, which lies on the Central Corridor. Border type: Juxtaposed and on the borderline of the Kagera River. </p>
<p>The facility on the Rwandan side was completed and handed over (to DGIE) in December<br>
2015 and handover of the facility on the Tanzanian side (to TRA) in October 2015. </p>
<p>Benefits to be accrued by successful project implementation are as follows:</p>
