The Galafi One-Stop Border Post is a joint Ethiopia–Djibouti border-management project intended to reduce clearance times and improve corridor trade. It combines coordinated customs, immigration and other border functions with shared facilities and procedures. The project remained in implementation and operational-readiness preparation in July 2026.

<p>The objectives of an OSBP are: </p>

<li>To ease congestion at existing facilities </li>
<li>To reduce time delays at border </li>
<li>To increase coordination between border agencies </li>
<li>To simplify the processes at borders and to facilitate trade.</li>
