The Somalia section of the Nairobi–Mogadishu Fibre-optic Link is a proposed terrestrial connection between Kenya and Somalia. It is intended to expand international bandwidth, improve network redundancy and support lower-cost digital services through a cross-border fibre route and interconnection facilities. The project remains at pre-feasibility stage.
