The Nacala Port Container Terminal Expansion is a port-development project in Mozambique serving the Nacala Corridor and inland markets in Malawi and Zambia. JICA-supported works rehabilitated and expanded port infrastructure to improve cargo handling, vessel access and regional logistics. The completed development package was inaugurated on 7 October 2023 and was operational by the 2025 assessment.
