<p class="MsoNormal">The Regional Transport and Navigation Development Project is one of several priority projects under the Integrated Water Resources Development and Management Plan for the Baro-Akobo-Sobat Sub-basin in the Eastern Nile region. This project will investigate and evaluate the feasibility of investments to improve the role of navigation in the Baro-Akobo-Sobat sub-basin within the context of regional transport and access to markets as a whole. It will also carry out the necessary planning and design work to get the project ready for implementation and support its implementation.</p>
