<p class="MsoNormal">Wadi Allaqi Livelihoods Support Project Wadi Allaqi Livelihoods Support Project is to promote alternative livelihood activities that protect the unique biodiversity of the area. Project interventions include promoting tree planting for charcoal production; cultivation of fodder crops like lucerne; planting indigenous tress species in degraded parts of the wadi; establishing tourist camps and promoting eco-tourism; carrying out training in selected off-farm livelihood activities; promoting value addition activities along the value chain and strengthening market links.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&Acirc; The prefeasibility study for the project was carried out in the period 2010-2012 under the Watershed Delineation and Prioritization Project</p>
