The Tororo–Gulu–Pakwach Standard Gauge Railway is a proposed northern Uganda rail corridor. It is intended to connect eastern and northern Uganda with the regional standard-gauge network and improve access to domestic and cross-border markets. Uganda's 2026–2030 planning keeps the project in structuring rather than construction.

The governments of Kenya and Uganda and Rwanda have committed to the development of a standard gauge railway that links the landlocked countries of Rwanda and Uganda with Mombasa port in Kenya. This project entails the section from Tororo to Gulu to Pakwach in Uganda.

Given the location of the initial productive oil wells in the northern region of Lake Albert, the reconstruction and upgrading of the northern railway is considered essential, and could well provide the much needed anchor project for the revival of the region.
