Scope change:<br />
-Scope Change Notification supported by Transnet Board in Nov. '17. Notification in principle supported by DPE during Nov. "’17 bilateral and formal Notification submitted to Shareholder Minister in Dec. '17-pending approval. Shareholder"’s Compact KPIs amended to reflect revised scope.<br />
-DoT notified of change in scope and completion date affecting Section 79 directive.<br />
-Rail Phase 1:(Extension of 97km of loops between Kimberley & De Aar; and Rosmeadstation)<br />
?Original scope of work is complete and has operationally been taken over by TFR.<br />
?Contract with the EPCM service provider ended on 15 December 2017.<br />
?Remaining work -managed by RME comprise upgrading of 26 level crossings and construction of a pedestrian bridge at Modderrivier.<br />
