<p>Develop a multi-product pipeline between Durban and Gauteng to expand pipeline capacity and replace the existing pipeline that has reached the end of its economic life. Initial capacity (phase 1) will be 8.7 blpawhich includes:<br />
Installation of 162km of 16-inch pipelines and 555km of a 24-inch trunk line pipeline, three new pump-stations and two metering-stations on the trunk line and two terminals"”one in the Port of Durban (Coastal) and one at Jameson Park near Heidelberg (Inland).<br />

The approved Phase 1a (Tight lining) Ability to Operate date is 30 November 2017. At this date, the project is forecasted to be operational as a multi-product pipeline operating at 1 080m?3;/h. The Coastal Terminal accumulator tanks have been separated into Phase 1b, for which a business case is currently under review.</p>
