NOT PURELY DEMAND DRIVEN -EXPANSION FROM 20 TO 40mtpa
<p>Development of the Waterberg rail system to accommodate coal and other traffic from Botswana through the Waterberg and Rustenburg regions.<br />
The project consists of a study to consider a possible new heavy haul line between Lephalale and the Botswana rail network.<br />
Line capacity will be 20mtpa scalable to 40mtpa in single line configuration.<br />
This project is developmental and not purely demand driven.</p>
