EXPANSION FROM 40 -80 -120mtpa
<p>Development of the Waterberg feeder rail system to accommodate demand for: (a) domestic and export coal and (b) iron-ore, granite and other general freight originating from the Waterberg and Thabazimbiareas.<br />
The project consists of a study for a proposed new heavy haul line between Lephalaleand Ermelo for traffic demand beyond the 23mtpa additional coal capacity expansion of the existing line.<br />
Line capacity will initially be 40mtpa scalable to 80mtpa and 120mtpa, possibly in single line configuration.</p>
