330 kV Côte d'Ivoire - Ghana Interconnection Reinforcement is a cross-border electricity-transmission project serving Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. It is intended to strengthen supply reliability and regional electricity trade through high-voltage lines, substations and grid interconnections. The 330 kV Côte d’Ivoire–Ghana reinforcement is a WAPP transmission project intended to strengthen cross-border transfer capacity and system reliability. At 31 December 2025, the project was assessed at Project Structuring.

This project forms part of the priority projects identified in the ECOWAS Master Plan for the Generation and Transmission of Electrical Energy. The proposed 330 kV line is approximately 300 km long (177 km in CA´te d’Ivoire and 119 in Ghana) and involves a the construction of a transmission line, construction of a new substation at Akoupe-Zeudji in the North East of Abidjan in CA´te d’Ivoire and the construction of a new substation '"’Dunkwa"’"’ 2 at Dunkwa-on-Offin in Ghana.

The Objective of the 330 kV Côte d"'Ivoire - Ghana Interconnection Reinforcement Project is to reinforce the existing interconnection line between Ghana and Côte d"'Ivoire that shall lead to unconstrained power exchanges between the Ghana and Côte d"'Ivoire and beyond.
