The Juba–Bor–Malakal–Renk–Sudan Border Railway is a proposed north–south rail corridor through South Sudan to Sudan. It is intended to improve freight and passenger movement, connect production areas with regional markets and provide an alternative to road transport. The project remains at project-definition stage, with conflict and limited current technical and financing information affecting preparation.
